About the distillery

Craigellachie produces a robust and old-fashioned style of Speyside whisky that stands apart from the region’s softer and more polished stereotypes. Its spirit is often associated with sulfur, tropical fruit, oiliness and muscular structure, partly shaped by the continued use of worm-tub condensers. Long underrepresented as a single malt, Craigellachie has gained increasing recognition among enthusiasts seeking more character-driven Speyside whisky.
