About the distillery

Glenfarclas remains one of the few major Speyside distilleries still owned and operated by the same family, preserving a strongly traditional approach to whisky production. Best known for its extensive use of sherry casks, the distillery produces robust, richly textured malts with notes of dried fruit, spice and dark sugar. Compared with many prestige-driven Speyside brands, Glenfarclas has long maintained a reputation for offering relatively honest age statements and strong value.
