About the distillery
Glenglassaugh occupies a dramatic coastal location overlooking Sandend Bay, a setting that strongly influences its maritime identity and maturation profile. After spending years silent, the distillery was revived during the modern whisky renaissance and repositioned toward premium coastal Highland single malt. Its whiskies often combine fruit sweetness, sea air and gentle spice within an approachable structure.
