About the distillery
Glengoyne occupies a unique geographical position, with its stills located in Highland while its warehouses technically mature whisky in Lowland. The distillery is particularly known for producing unpeated whisky matured extensively in sherry casks, emphasizing orchard fruit, spice and malt sweetness rather than smoke. Its slow distillation process has become a central part of the brand’s identity and marketing.
