About the distillery
Glenrothes built much of its identity around vintage releases and sherry-influenced maturation, positioning itself within the richer side of Speyside whisky. Its whiskies generally emphasize dried fruit, citrus, spice and texture while maintaining a comparatively restrained and elegant structure. The distillery historically cultivated a quieter and more traditional image than many aggressively marketed competitors.
