About the distillery
Aultmore has historically been better known within blending circles than as a widely marketed single malt, despite producing a highly respected Speyside spirit style. Its whiskies are often associated with grassy freshness, cereal notes and a clean structure sometimes described as subtly herbal. Official bottlings remained relatively obscure for decades, contributing to a quiet but loyal enthusiast following.
