About the distillery
Balmenach produces a dense and traditional Speyside spirit style often associated with weight, cereal richness and earthy complexity. Long used primarily within blends, the distillery became better known among enthusiasts through independent bottlings showcasing its robust character. Its relatively old-fashioned profile stands apart from lighter and more commercially polished Speyside malts.
