About the distillery
Dalwhinnie is one of Scotland’s highest distilleries, operating in a remote Highland environment marked by harsh winters and dramatic mountain scenery. Its whiskies are generally gentle and approachable, emphasizing honey, heather, soft malt sweetness and restrained smoke rather than coastal intensity or heavy oak influence. The distillery has long served as a classic introduction to Highland single malt for newer whisky drinkers.
