About the distillery

Craigellachie occupies a robust corner of Speyside whisky, producing muscular spirit known for sulfurous complexity, tropical fruit and oily texture. The continued use of worm-tub condensers contributes strongly to its heavier and more old-fashioned profile compared with many modern Speyside malts. Once largely hidden within blends, the distillery has gradually earned recognition among enthusiasts seeking more character-driven Scotch whisky.
