About the distillery

Ardbeg is one of Islay’s most uncompromising distilleries, producing heavily peated whisky defined by dense smoke, medicinal intensity and a distinctly maritime edge. Once close to disappearing during the whisky downturns of the twentieth century, it has since become one of Scotch whisky’s strongest cult brands, supported by a fiercely loyal enthusiast following and highly collectible limited releases.
