About the distillery

Arran emerged during the modern revival of small-scale Scottish distilling and quickly established itself as one of the leading contemporary island distilleries. Its whiskies are generally fruit-forward and approachable, often emphasizing citrus, malt sweetness and coastal freshness rather than aggressive peat. The distillery’s success helped demonstrate that newer Scotch producers could compete seriously with far older and more established names.
